Manages the status and condition of Bowls/Trays or wear surfaces
Overview
Bowl Commander, based on the same layout design and functionality as Oil Commander, manages inspection results from the bowls or Trays of Off-Highway trucks, Articulated Dump Trucks and other bodies and calculates wear rates, life expectancy, cost per hour and accurately forecasts bowl area replacement. This module provides the user with the ability to quickly identify problem areas and repair requirements through colour coding. The module is fully integrated with the other Equipment Condition Monitoring tools and financial analysis. Inspection due dates are highlighted on the scheduler.

Functionality
- Allows the upload of results from Non Destructive testing where cracks
can propagate at a particular speed. These cracks can be tracked and limits of propagation rate and crack length can be set. Images can be stored and where required a document generated for the welders outlining the particular spot for repair. - Inspections can be performed on the high wear areas of the equipment using either visual responses or Non Destructive Testing methods
to determine material thickness.
Provides the standard functionality for inspection results
viewing as follows:-
- Inspection Details - displays the detail inspection results for the Bowl components, percentage worn, life left, projected total life and life lived to date.
- Full History - displays in tabular format the inspection results for all the components of the Bowl with radio buttons to display history for
% worn, life left, projected life and life lived. - Graphing - displays the inspection results graphically.
- Messaging - provides an email messaging and communications log.
- Action Taken - enables the recording of actions against the sample which is then colour coded to show the status.
