Manages and tracks the useful life of each component
Overview
Component Commander manages all components and sub-components
of any machine tracking their progress against a standard life and indicating when services, minor overhauls and major overhauls are due. The system includes the ability to create budgets at start of equipment life. Against these, future forecasts are created which are updated continuously from Component Replacements, Hour Meter or Distance tracking. Comparisons of actuals against budgets and forecasts can be viewed at any point in equipment life. Warranty
on components will be tracked by hours or months, with end of warranty period highlighted in exception reports.

Benefits
- Quick and simple data capture at services or at any other point in time.
- Tracks all exchange stock and movements.
- Provides full history of each component.
- Know where component has been and is currently is located.
- Know performance history.
- Know historical cost of each component.
- View value of exchange stock.
- Provides comparison of actual rebuild costs and labour hours
against budgets.
- Forecast and schedule component rebuilds and component requirements.
Functionality
- Can create an initial budget for component rebuilds and replacements on equipment.
- Builds a Component replacement/rebuild forecast at the same time which changes dynamically daily on entry of SMU data and component events.
- Match a unique identifying number to each component.
- Tracks the number of rebuilds of the component.
- Tracks in which equipment the component has been installed and displays the history.
- Components can be children of a parent (Example Turbocharger is a child of parent Engine).
- All components identified by SMCS codes.
- The system will summarise current position of each component,
when installed, budgeted life and life remaining.
- The system will also track the warranty on the components and warranty life remaining.
- Components can be moved to a rebuild/ repair facility or to exchange stock.
