PM Service Management Overview
This module allows the setup of a service cycle for equipment. A forecast is then developed over the life of the equipment driving a schedule and adjusted via inputs from the Hour Meter Readings or Odometer readings. Flexibility with the service cycle intervals enables changes or new service cycles to be chosen. Scheduled services can drive work order creation and provide task lists for work to be completed.
Task lists can include:
1. Normal service tasks
2. Component replacement tasks
3. Backlog tasks
Where tasks are not completed, these will automatically be included on the backlog register.
Actual costs can be recorded against the service for comparison against budget and forecasts. Future forecasts can be adjusted using ‘What If’ type scenarios to see the financial outcome impact.
